After months of speculation, Warner Bros has decided “Clash of the Titans” will indeed be released in 3-D, and thus, the release date has been moved back one week from March 26 to April 2nd, 2010.
Since conversion costs have been falling, it will “only” cost $5 million (studio chump change, life-changing money for the rest of us) to convert each film into 3D and another $5 to supply the 3D glasses.
As a result of Clash’s shiny new 3D look, the film has been pushed back from March 26th to April 2nd where it compete against The Last Song starring Miley Cyrus, Repo Men starring Jude Law and Forest Whitaker, Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too starring Janet Jackson and Tyler Perry’s Tyler Perry, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Furry Vengeance starring Brendan Fraser.
